The Indiana Fever (1-1) secured their first home win of the season with a thrilling 71-70 victory over the Chicago Sky (1-1) on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
NaLyssa Smith led the Fever with 17 points, followed by Victoria Vivians with 15 points and Destanni Henderson with 12 points and 6 assists. The Sky were paced by Azura Stevens with 16 points, while Kahleah Copper added 15 points and Courtney Vandersloot contributed 12 points and 8 assists.
The game was closely contested throughout, with neither team leading by more than 7 points. The Sky held a 3-point lead at halftime, but the Fever rallied in the second half to take the win.
